ACTIVITY : Team Haka
DESCRIPTION : Participants will be grouped into different teams and working together to form a team identity as creative as possible. Participants will also be introduced to the program and getting to know each another. Framing the participants and introduction to the title
SESSION 2 – CODE OF CREATIVITY
DESCRIPTION : Tips and theory of what creativity is all about and what are the code of being a creative person. What are the promises as a professional to be creative. How can a person generate as many ideas as possible to solve issues?
SESSION 3 – MENTAL PREPARATION
DESCRIPTION : Is there a secret to be creative? What does it take to be that person that can always generate ideas? How can we prepare our mind, body and soul before we generate ideas? This session will share with participants that preparation of mind is the key to be a creative person
ACTIVITY : Techniques To Prepare Our Minds
DESCRIPTION : This is a sharing session where participants will go through the steps of how other successful people generate ideas. And how can they apply this techniques back at work?
SESSION 4 – SOURCE OF INNOVATIVE IDEAS
DESCRIPTION : This session covers the 5 sources of innovative ideas. Examples of successful ideas generated by industry expert and what makes them successful. Examples and case studies will be shared along the way as participants learn.
ACTIVITY : Pandora’s Bag!
DESCRIPTION : Teams will be given a bag full of surprises in it. What they need to do is to pick one item each and think of a way to improve the product from its current function.
SESSION 5 – CREATIVE FACULTIES
DESCRIPTION : Participants will be introduced to the learning modalities of a human being. Understanding that people are different and we take in information differently based on our intelligences. Developing our creative faculties requires exploiting the full potential of all our intelligences and talents
ACTIVITY : The Test
DESCRIPTION : Participants will be given a set of test each to find out what are their intelligences and talents. Based on the test, they will calibrate and understand how can they use their skills to the maximum potential
SESSION 6 – IDEA GENERATION TECHNIQUES
DESCRIPTION : Participants will be exposed to 5 techniques of idea generation. These are the techniques used by organisations, individuals and strategists to solve issues and problems. They will be going through activities on all 5 techniques as a group.
ACTIVITY : Visual Thinking
DESCRIPTION : Drawings express ideas better. Conveys functional characteristics and emotional content. Express your thoughts as a team!
ACTIVITY : Brainstorm
DESCRIPTION : As a group, generate a large number of solutions to a problem. Teams will be given a scenario and based on that scenario, they have to brainstorm new ideas to solve the problem.
ACTIVITY : Nominal Group Thinking
DESCRIPTION : This is a technique where we Eevoke ideas and solutions from participants. A real life scenario will be given to participants. They need to use the new techniques to provide as many solutions to the scenario as possible.
ACTIVITY : Catchball
DESCRIPTION : This is a technique where you toss your idea from 1 group to another for the purpose of review, reflection and modification
ACTIVITY : Prototype
DESCRIPTION : Participants will be given raw materials to build a prototype. Once they are done with the R&D, they need to purchase raw materials to construct the product
This workshop experience is target to inculcate into each participant (through interactive learning, games, role-playing and experiential fun activities) the importance of Idea Generation. Throughout the session, participants will learn the core aspects of what makes a successful person, contributing to the profitability of their company and life. At the end of the workshop, participants will hold in their hands specific skills, concepts and experiences that can propel their team and company towards greater professionalism and as a result, greater profitability
